Jean‑Benoît brings decades of finance, audit, and CFO leadership to the board of Alpha Star
Jean-Benoît Lachaise is a Board Member of Alpha Star and was the General Secretary and Group Chief Financial Officer of Bemberg Capital (formerly Quilvest) until 2024. He headed all administrative and corporate activities in Luxembourg and was a member of the Executive Committee of Quilvest Capital Partners, the private equity asset manager of the Group.
He has a long-standing career in finance, having previously served as CFO and Risk Manager of Credit Lyonnais Luxembourg (€4Bn AuM) and joining the Bank’s Executive Committee in 1999. His experience also includes roles as Head of Internal Audit at Credit Lyonnais Luxembourg, Internal Auditor at Credit Suisse Luxembourg, and Financial Controller for an automotive industrial company (Guardian Industries). He began his career with audit firms Arthur Andersen and Coopers & Lybrand.
His background spans audit, risk management, and financial control across banking and industrial sectors, providing a comprehensive and deep understanding of corporate and financial structures. Jean-Benoît is a graduate of ESC Bordeaux.
